We can produce most any asphalt mix design required. Basically, there are 2 general types of mixes:

Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA)

Hot mix asphalt is the old standard of asphalt for roads, parking lots and driveways. The entire mix is heated to a high temperature to allow for proper coating of the aggregate and asphalt cement. Aggregates can be either new (“virgin”), or a combination of new and recycled material.

Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA)

Warm mix asphalt is the new standard for asphalt paving. New asphalt plants and techniques have allowed for the production of quality pavements at lower temperatures. These lower temperatures provide the following advantages:

Reduced fuel consumption and therefore lower emissions both at the plant and jobsite.

Improved service life.

Improved workablilty of the asphalt.

Longer paving season.

Enhanced recycling capabilities.
